Greetings!
ROM Features
My build is based on the *official* MIUI Desire-Z build, repackaged with English translations by MIUI.us. Here`s what I`ve done:
- /system and /data formatted with the ext4 file system.
- The Virtuous ROM OC Daemon is included to make this ROM blazing fast.
- Virtuous memory management optimizations
- Virtuous automatic battery calibration script (no need to manually wipe battery stats)
- Wifi Calling included and fully functional (easily removed if you don`t want it, flashable patch in post #2)
- tsubus kernel installed by default
- OTA update support through ROM Manager
- CyanogenMod ringtones/notification/alarm tones (the new MIUI ones, are.. fun)
- Bundled OC Daemon UI (OC/UV Beater) for easy over/underclocking control
- NOT A SINGLE HOT REBOOT TO DATE. Can`t say the same for any other version I`ve used
Credits
- Official MIUI Development Team
- MIUI.us for the English translations
- rmk and the VirtuousROM crew for the OC Daemon and optimizations
- g4rb4g3 for the bootanimation from his MIUI builds.
- Ludid Keyboard by brainmaster
- Juwe11 for his memory optimizations.
- tsubus for his kernel
- cjoliver for his OC/UV Beater application
Please make your donations to the above mentioned individuals, they did all the hard work!

Resources and Addons
Installation Instructions:
- Download the ROM and place it on the root of your SD card, along with any addons you want to install (addons don`t necessarily have to be flashed at the same time as the ROM; you can come back to those later if you want).
- Reboot into recovery via ROM manager, or by completely powering your phone down then booting it back up while holding the vol- rocker (then select recovery from the list).
- Wipe data/cache via recovery based on the recommendations below.
- Choose to install the ROM from the SD card, then navigate to the ROM zip file on the root of your SD card.
- Flash the ROM and any desired mods, then reboot your phone.
- Done.
Do I Need to Wipe?:
- First time flashing Bulletproof? Full wipe necessary.
- Coming from a Sense or CM ROM? Full wipe necessary.
- Coming from another version of MIUI (OsiMood, MIUI.us, etc)? Full wipe necessary.
- Incremental Bulletproof updates will only require a full wipe if explicitly noted. Otherwise a cache wipe will suffice.

Addons:
Note: All addon support/questions should be directed to their respective threads. I didn`t make any of these, I`m just pointing you in the right direction. Make sure the addon you`re installing supports the weekly MIUI build you`re installing it on!
- Remove Wifi Calling (Flash via recovery)
- Skip track with volume rockers (a la CyanogenMod)
- Extended settings (tip from cjward: mount /system in recovery before flashing this)
- 4-Way reboot (Already included as of 1.8.12 release)
- 12hr clock widget modification
Compatible Kernels:
Note: Do not use smartass governor with the OC Daemon. Ondemand governor is recommended! The daemon uses screen off profiles, which makes the smartass governor useless. Screen off profiles with proper settings are known to be a more stable solution than the smartass governor.
Note 2: I`ve added all the possible CPU frequencies for each respective kernel. These are the usable values for the Virtuous OC Daemon.
- Pershoot - CPU Frequncies - Default, recommended kernel. Wifi calling works perfectly
- CM7 Kernel - CPU Frequencies - From nightly 158. Breaks Wifi calling
- Tiamat - CPU Frequencies - Wifi calling works perfectly (as of build 1.1.0)
- Eugene`s Streamline5 - CPU Frequencies - Developer no longer updates. Wifi calling works perfectly.
Themes:
Note: Most, if not all of these themes, should be available through the Theme Manager application included in the ROM. Manually downloaded themes (.mtz files) should be placed in the "/sdcard/MIUI/theme" directory.
- MIUI Themes
- MIUI Android theme development forum
- MIUI.us theme development forum
- Huge collection of font .mtz files
Tips and Tricks:
- To use the built-in screenshot function, hold the "menu" capacitive button and hit the vol- rocker. Screenshots will be stored in "/sdcard/MIUI/screen_cap/"
- On first boot on a fresh install, go into Launcher Settings, and toggle hi-res graphics on, then back off again (If you intend on using the stock MIUI Launcher, this seems to smooth it out significantly)
- Long pressing on the different hardware toggles in the notification pulldown will take you to their respective settings page (e.g. long pressing the wifi toggle will take you to wifi settings)
- Disable auto brightness and you`ll get a brightness slider in the notification toggle pulldown.
- Disable auto brightness to save a little bit of battery (this is not specific to MIUI)
- MIUI has a built-in FTP file server. To use it, open the File Manager application, and tap on the "FTP" tab.
- Holding the "home" capacitive button while the lockscreen is active will turn the flashlight on.
- Double tapping the clock on the lockscreen will enable a music player interface (on most skins, not all). You can configure which app it controls under Settings > System > Button Settings
- MIUI is pronounced "ME YOU EYE", but say it however you want
